A freelance writer turned copywriter, editor, and book coach, Erica James transforms manuscripts and creative ideas into a finished product. For more than nine years, Erica has connected with hundreds of aspiring writers, artists and entrepreneurs across the world, using the power of words to bring their visions to life.
With her clients’ goals in mind, she creates customized game plans to help:

Erica is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in May 2012 and a master’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in African and African American Studies in May 2014. Though she attempted to follow the “practical” career route, she decided to pursue her love for writing full-time in 2015, which birthed MasterPieces Writing and Editing LLC three years later.
Erica is also an author, accountability coach, and content creator (MasterPieces Writing and Editing LLC; Confessions of a Good Girl). Her published works include How to Write a Book Without Breaking the Bank, The Key to Accountability: How to Hold Yourself and Others Accountable, and Doing Business the Legal Way: How to Start and Run an Online Business. She currently lives in Louisiana where she was born and raised.
